"I did some 4 and 5 day water fasts 3-5 yrs ago. Keeping track of my blood glucose and blood ketone levels were key for me to complete these fasts; it wasn’t easy but getting into the target zone of max ketosis and staying there, deriving the benefits for 3or4 days made it work for me! I bought the “Keto- Mojo Meter”from keto-mojo. com. Good company! What Dr. Group’s book did for me was supply a lot of current information I knew nothing about by today’s experts on fasting. I knew that fasting was a healing tool used for many years in mankind’s past but always wondered about the details. I was especially pleased to learn some of those in Dr. Group’s book! From intermittent to extended water fasting,it’s all there. Every person wanting to improve their health will find a type of fasting there that fits their lifestyle and motivation. "I read his entire book and followed it closely on a 9-day water-only fast as well as easing back to food properly. Started back on regular diet today 3-4-26 Instead of losing fat and I gained 1% body fat and contrary to the book and lost 10% of my muscle mass confirmed by three separate body scans. Nevertheless I wasn't happy about that"

"I'm almost done reading it. I knew Dr G would help me put a timeline together for longer fasting. I think at 67 the 3 day fits my comfort zone. Who knows, maybe I'll acclimate to a longer one. Q&A

Some fasters recommend taking small amounts of salt when water fasting. What is your opinion please? Would the salt impede the benefits? Also, how long does one need to fast to get to a point of breaking down dead cells? What about the time to regenerate and form new stem cells? Thanks in advance. I just heard you speak on a DocuSeries and am inspired.

Hello, seems to be an interesting read, I have to admit I am scanning for information about fasting and blood cleansing. Some say you have to make quite a long fast in order to really get "cleaned out", obviously it will depend.. Fasting one two even three consecutive days a week for a period is also on my mind.. what say you? Thanks for the iodine and liver tincture btw..great stuff can you take them simultaneously?
