The Benefits How Iron Leads to a Better You

Prevent Iron Deficiency

Iron deficiency is extremely common, particularly in individuals with heavy menstrual cycles and those who don’t eat meat. An iron supplement is a simple way to meet your iron needs.

Promote Healthy Growth & Development

Iron supports cell growth, muscle function, and brain development. Adequate iron intake is crucial for individuals of all ages to support overall development, optimal physical performance, and cognitive well-being.

Renewed Vitality

Your cells need oxygen to convert nutrients into energy, and the body needs hemoglobin to transport oxygen to cells. Because iron enables hemoglobin to carry oxygen, getting enough iron is important for feeling energized throughout the day.

From Sarah

I cannot tolerate regular iron supplements, they were too hard on my stomach and digestive system. This product is a god send. Both my daughter (she's 21) and myself (47) take these every day and our levels have increased each time! Both our doctors were impressed with the results! Both of us have this supplement on auto ship so we never run out and save a little money too.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can children take iron?

This product is not recommended for children.

Can pregnant or nursing women take iron?

Yes. Pregnant women often need to increase their iron intake to support fetus and placenta growth. However, we always recommend that pregnant or nursing women consult their healthcare provider before taking any dietary supplement.

What type of iron is in this supplement?

Our formula contains non-heme iron, which naturally occurs in plant-based food. Your body uses non-heme iron more efficiently, and there is less chance of iron toxicity.

Why is iron necessary for the body?

Iron is a crucial mineral that helps create hemoglobin, the substance in red blood cells that carries oxygen from your lungs to transport it throughout your body. It also plays a vital role in energy production and immune function.

How much iron do I need daily?

The Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) for iron varies by age, gender, and life stage. Adult men typically need about 8 mg daily, while women aged 19-50 need about 18 mg daily. Pregnant women need about 27 mg per day.

When is the best time of day to take an iron supplement?

Iron supplements are best taken in the morning with a small meal. Avoid taking alongside calcium supplements, dairy, or caffeine as these can hinder iron absorption.

Are there any side effects to taking an iron supplement?

An iron supplement is generally safe for most adults. The most common side effect is gastrointestinal issues. While iron is an important nutrient, taking too much can lead to iron toxicity, which is a serious health risk due to potential damage to internal organs. Take iron responsibly and as directed.

I love this product

"I was taking this supplement from another supplier and just didn't feel as if it were of good quality, so I decided to try this from Global Healing. I like the results I've received so far, it works great as my doctor prescribed iron years ago. I think it's great that I feel good, and have noticed a difference. I would recommend this. I have low iron and this gives me what I need, whether I'm fasting in the morning or not, it's perfect."

Iron with no upset stomach

"Lately I have been noticing feeling a little bit tired and usually my iron levels play a roll since I don’t consume red meat a lot. In the past when taking an iron pill it tears my stomach up . With the pill I don’t have that issue, within days I started feeling more energized. I would recommend this to anyone with sensitivity to iron and stomach issues, this one is great!"

— Susanna P. (5/5)

"So far so good. It doesn't hurt my stomach. Still to early to tell if it works."
