We generally do not recommend taking supplements while doing a water-only fast as they may interfere with the regenerative process. So, if you are doing a fast with only water, it's ideal for forgoing Vitamin B12 and all other supplements until you are finished.
If you are juice fasting, you could take this supplement, and there should be no problem.
What was the reason for such a high daily value?
Our research indicates that poor diets and nutrient-depleted soils have led to nutritional deficiencies worldwide. - I have been diagnosed with Pernicious Anemia about 5 years ago. The recommended treatment for this condition a loading dose of Hydroxocobalamin every second day then every 3 months injections. I then developed peripheral neuropathy, extreme fatigue and continuous pain which has debilitated my quality of life. I have researched the various types of B12 and found Methylcobalamin B12 to administer injections myself with insulin needles every day. This has improved slightly to decrease my pins and needles but I still have nerve pain. My GP has now prescribed me with nerve pain medication to help me improve my quality of life slightly. I continue to search for a B12 supplement to include adenosylcobalamin and Methylcobalamin to be able absorb sublingually or as an injection, since I can’t absorb it gastrointestinally. I would like to know if your B12 product would be suitable for people like myself with my condition?
