Dr. Siddhi Camila Lama is a science writer, editor, and translator. She has a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Bioengineering from MIT-Portugal at the University of Lisbon, a Master of Science in Organ, Tissue, and Cellular Transplantation, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development. Her research has focused on tissue engineering and the creation of human-machine interface systems for bioelectronic medicine. Moe Schlachter is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator. He’s passionate about helping people reach their health potential and maximize their quality of life through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. His comprehensive experience includes diabetes management, weight management, cardiovascular health, pediatric nutrition, and nutrition. He makes routine television appearances where he shares healthy and nutritious recipes. Moe earned a Master of Nutrition degree at Texas Woman’s University.
Dr. Frieda Wiley is a full-time medical writer and pharmacist. A proponent of integrative medicine, she studied herbs, functional medicine, and plant-based wellness in Tucson, Arizona, Vancouver, British Columbia, and through a variety of classes and seminars. In addition to earning a doctorate in pharmacy from the University of the Incarnate Word, she also earned bachelor's degrees in Spanish and biochemistry at the University of Texas - Austin. She writes a regular column for Diabetes Self-Management and a pharmacist's blog for WebMD.
