What is the source of B12?

We use organic vegetable glycerin in our formula, which is low glycemic and more gentle on the stomach, vs. alcohol-based liquid extracts. B12 has less than one carbohydrate per serving.
What is the source of the vegetable glycerin in B12?
We source organic vegetable glycerin from organic mustard seeds.
How does Vitamin B12 stay active? I have heard that Methylcobalamin is very unstable and subject to degradation, especially when exposed to light.
We use organic glycerin and Ormus Supercharged Minerals in B12 to help stabilize the formula. Methylcobalamin can be light-sensitive, so we use dark brown glass bottles to protect the formula's integrity.
Does this require refrigeration?
B12 does not require refrigeration, and it is shelf stable when kept at room temperature.
Is it possible to take too much B12?
In our experience, there is no upper limit on vitamin B12, and even highly high servings of B12 are safe with virtually no side effects. As a water-soluble vitamin, the excess gets excreted in your urine.

B12 is naturally red on its own. We do NOT use any food coloring or dyes.
I see the instructions say to take on an empty stomach. How long do I have to wait before eating?
We recommend taking B12 on an empty stomach, about 20-30 minutes (or more) before eating.
I have the MTHFR gene. Will I be able to use this B12?
We have had a lot of positive feedback for individuals with the MTHFR genetic mutation. Global Healing B12 is sublingual, so it is super absorbed, and we would anticipate ideal results.
Can you take this vitamin B12 while fasting?
We generally do not recommend taking supplements while doing a water-only fast as they may interfere with the regenerative process. So, if you are doing a fast with only water, it's ideal for forgoing Vitamin B12 and all other supplements until you are finished.
If you are juice fasting, you could take this supplement, and there should be no problem.
What was the reason for such a high daily value?
Our research indicates that poor diets and nutrient-depleted soils have led to nutritional deficiencies worldwide. Because of this nutrient deficit, our suggested intake exceeds the recommended dietary allowance. We generally suggest taking 1 ml daily (5,000 mcg) of Vitamin B12 since this is considered a safe and effective serving. However, this amount is still flexible to your needs so that you can adjust the serving size. As always, if you have a pre-existing condition or any health concerns, please check in with your healthcare provider before use for additional tips and guidance.
If I am taking medications, can I supplement with B12?
While this is generally safe to take we do recommend taking B12 2 hours away from medications. We must suggest that you consider speaking with your healthcare provider before considering adding any new supplements to your regimen to make sure that this can be accommodated for your personal needs.
